We’re busy organising an event for FASTMOVE - a group of 30 local law firms who work together locally for a speedier and smoother home moving process. The lunch is being held at the Duke of Cornwall next week and is proving very popular with around 50 estate agents due to attend. It should be fun!

We are well and truly hooked! Our first Raiders game was really good and the clients that came along with us all agreed. Since then we’ve tried to get to some of the other games whilst getting through a couple of very busy campaign months. Amongst some of the work has been the Cross Keys International Launch - an excellent, well attended night with some great publicity; Gard & Co press coverage; RTG press coverage; Plymouth Argyle Christmas campaign - yes it will soon be that time again! Watch this space for new case studies!

This Sunday’s Plymouth Raiders game will be the first basketball game I’ve been to! It should be really good and then afterwards we’ll be mingling with some 200 other business guests and meeting Foxy and the Plymouth Raiders! Hopefully there’ll also be a few businesses who will be interested in being part of the new Silver Season brochure we are producing - some really high profile companies have signed up which is great for the team!

We are busy putting together the Raiders’ ‘Silver Season’ Business Brochure and looking forward to the first fixture of the season this Sunday against Guildford Heat. A number of our clients and friends are joining us for the game, I’m sure it will be an evening to remember!

As co-ordinators of Argyle’s season ticket campaign, we’re delighted that ticket sales are around ten per cent up on last year. We were also pleased to see the team come back from one nil down for a well-deserved draw against Ipswich…Come On You Greens!

I can’t wait for Argyle’s first Championship home game against Ipswich on Saturday, it seems ages since last season. Let’s hope for a great crowd to launch the team’s campaign this year. I will be there for sure. Fingers crossed for a top 10 finish.

Our client Martin Bush, abstract contemporary artist at the Royal William Yard, has now moved to his new gallery. Why not pop in to see him and his work ? He is there from 12 noon - 5pm Thursday to Sunday. Well worth a visit - we have three of his paintings in our office at the Millfields - you can view these and others at www.martinbush.co.uk

I am delighted to announce Hype will be working with the Plymouth Raiders as their commercial and marketing department for the forthcoming season. We are therefore on a crash course to learn all about a new sport. While we have lots to learn about the technicalities of basketball, we do know how enthusiastic Raiders fans are about supporting their team! Home games are quite a spectacle by all accounts. I am really looking forward to the first game of the season on 9th September, and will keep you posted…

Hi and welcome to Hype’s blog! For those of you who don’t know us, we are marketing consultants based at the Millfields in Plymouth.
What is marketing we hear you ask . . . well in the past few months we have organised an art exhibition, arranged a lunch event on behalf of 32 firms of solicitors, managed Plymouth Argyle’s season ticket campaign, produced property brochures and websites, helped our clients get their stories in the local press and designed new ‘For Sale’ boards for Cross Keys Estates. Our campaigns are very varied, but mainly we work with local businesses to help them promote themselves and their products and services . . . and it’s great fun! Keep checking our blogs for the latest news on client activities . . . and if you have any ideas or just want to talk through your marketing, then get in touch!
